Consultant #5 brings a fresh perspective to the education vertical. As a current high school teacher and counselor, consultant # 5 was previously a law enforcement officer with over 10 years of experience. Consultant #5 has over 7 years of experience as a high school teacher and counselor. He achieved a BA in Psychology, a MA in Education and a Masters of Studies in Applied Criminology and Police Management.
As a Law Enforcement Officer he held the positions of: Robbery and Homicide Detective, Sex Crimes Detective, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Officer, Street Narcotics Detective, Special Operations Investigators, Special Response Team Member, Gang Investigator, Alcoholic Beverage Control Investigator and Patrol Officer. Consultant #5 has a broad experience in training community members and in various aspects of safety and law enforcement. These training areas included but are not limited to: active shooter, narcotics, homicide, sexual assault, internet crimes, and surveillance techniques. Consultant #5 has written and executed over 100 search warrants in his career and was responsible for authoring two grants for the organization.
An active member of his department and community, Consultant #5 was an active participant in the following groups: Knowledge Management, Organizational Values Revision, Downtown Development, Count Drug Endangered Children, Problem Solving Committee, Employee Early Warning Signs and the Technology User Group. Consultant #5 has a broad network including the following organizations: Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Agency, California Highway Patrol, Department of Fish and Game, Department of children and Family Services, LASD, SBSD and the Department of Homeland Security. Through his international education and involvement he has maintained relationships with Law Enforcement Agencies from: Germany, England, Northern Ireland, Hong Kong, Trinidad and Tobago and Australia.
Consultant #6 has a broad range of experience as well as expertise in very specific areas of law enforcement. With over 12 years of law enforcement experience at a Southern California Law Enforcement Agency , he was assigned to several specialty divisions including narcotics and the Special Response Team. As an Officer of the Year Recipient he has shown great devotion to his community throughout his career. He is also actively involved in many community organizations outside of his regular officer duties. As a member of the narcotics team he received a laundry list of training through CNOA and other agencies specializing in narcotics investigations. He also completed Undercover Operation Narcotics Instigations School. Consultant #6 was also a member of the Special Response Team and completed the precision rifle/sniper course. He was a trainer for Active Shooter and also completed Field Training Officer School.
Consultant #6 has an extensive education with a BA of Sociology and a Masters in Management. By being an active member in the community and a proactive officer, Consultant #6 is able to provide a higher level of understanding for critical incident training.
